To protect steel gauge blocks from corrosion, they are treated with anti-corrosion oil (not suitable for gauge blocks in carbide or ceramic)
The deburring stone can be used to remove small burrs on the measuring surfaces and edges of gauge blocks without changing the actual dimension

Gauge block holders with the quick adjustment system developed by us allow safe and rapid clamping of the gauge blocks. It has no protruding parts, thus smooth contact surfaces; furthermore, it has a particularly good dimensional rigidity due to longitudinal ribs. The clamping mechanism prevents the clamping slide from slipping and thus the gauge blocks from moving in position. The handling is very simple: The clamping slide is pushed onto the inserted gauge block combination and secured with one and the same screw – the gauge blocks are clamped. On request, the measuring range of the holders from size 100 – 300 can be extended to 0 by drilling holes in the holder and using the extension block No. 2150. When ordering please advise the requirements, e.g. 0 – 500 mm.

The periodic monitoring of hand-held or computer-controlled coordinate measuring machines is carried through on the basis of calibrated mechanical test bodies. By suitable selection and combination of different test bodies such as ball, step gauge block and ball plate and their arrangement, the entire measuring volume or certain partial measuring volumes can be covered according to the typical workpiece size and the inspection can be adapted to their most important measuring task.
